Christmas/New Year's Recap

Before we get too far into January, I wanted to do a little Christmas/New Year's recap. And yes, I torture my poor dog by making her wear funny hats for various holidays. She puts her foot down when it comes to wearing sweaters though. :)

DECEMBER 21st...

The Mollison family party was on the 21st at my mom's house. Lots of fun, lots of chasing after this little guy, my godson Aidan (Kathy's son).

CHRISTMAS EVE...

We started Christmas Eve at Aunt MaryAnn's house with Mom and Dad, Sean and Aunt MaryAnn. We opened gifts and then headed to St. Edmund for church. 

After church, we picked up Grandma and then went to my mom's for dinner and presents.

CHRISTMAS DAY...

 Our table set for Christmas morning breakfast (usually one of the only times a year that we use our china. We gotta use it sometime right?) 

After breakfast and opening gifts at home, we headed to the cemetary and then to Randy's parents house. His cousin's daughters brought their Guitar Hero game and we played for the 1st time (we got booed off the stage!).  

From there we went to Grandma's house to see her, Mom and Jerry and to open gifts with her.

  

 Our last stop was to Aunt Patty's house, where we got to meet Stacie's new baby, Frank. Here he is with his Papa Dave.

DECEMBER 26th...

We spent the day after Christmas at the Patalon family Christmas party. 

NEW YEAR'S EVE...

We spent New Year's Eve at home. We had gotten new countertops in our kitchen and small bathroom the day before and Randy and his dad spent most of the day hooking our sinks and faucets back up. We always stay home on New Year's, watch movies and get takeout. Again, Mia was thrilled to wear her party hat.

NEW YEAR'S DAY...

On New Year's Day, we had Randy's mom and dad, Aunt MaryAnn, Sean and my mom and Jerry over. Randy and his dad finished getting our kitchen faucet hooked up and then we spent the rest of the day watching the MSU football game and the Red Wings outdoor hockey game in Chicago.
