Crazy week...

Definitely haven't posted in a while. It's pretty bad when my mom tells me that my blog is looking pretty sad lately, lol. 

We have been super busy. We are scheduled to close on our house on Friday afternoon and we're moving on Saturday! I can't believe that it's almost time to leave. When we signed the purchase agreement, the end of May seemed so far away. And now it's time already!  Needless to say, I've been packing boxes like crazy. 

We don't have a new house yet either. We made an offer on a place in Shelby, but since it's a short sale, we have to wait for their bank to approve it. Apparently, there are approximately 1,453,895,523 other short sales in front of ours. Ok, so I might be exaggerating by a few numbers, but it's still a lot before ours comes up. ;)

In the meantime, Jerry and my mom have graciously offered to let us live in Jerry's other house in Waterford while we wait to find out what happens. And the house is a on a lake, so that's a nice bonus :) I'll be sending everyone our updated address by email later in the week.

Drinking from the fountains on the streets. The water runs down from the mountains via ancient aqueducts and our tour guide told us the water is perfectly clean. She said that locals drink from these fountains and fill their water bottles at them all of the time. We definitely got some weird looks from other tourists when we did it!
